Field Service Computer Network Engineer
Braintek, is currently looking for a Field Service Computer Network
Engineer.
Duties will include:
Performing on-site repair and installation at customer locations. Repair
server systems and other peripheral equipment; conduct a variety of
diagnostic tests to determine repairs needed; make necessary repairs in a
timely basis; communicate with customer as necessary to determine problem
areas and repairs needed; ensure the highest quality of work produced.
Install & troubleshoot system components. Have experience working with DOS &
Windows 98, 2k, XP, and Vista. Mac OS's not required but helpful.
Build and maintain Windows based AD controllers. This position requires
expertise with enterprise anti-virus, Backup Exec, SQL, IIS, Microsoft
Exchange and Blackberry Enterprise Server and the ability to troubleshoot
(not drop cables) using CAT5e/6 and fiber cabling and related equipment.
Configure and troubleshoot networking, Cisco, Checkpoint, Watchguard,
Sonicwall, Netgear routers/firewalls, T1s, branch office and user VPN
access, and routing tables.
Prepare a variety of paperwork to document work in progress, completed work,
and other necessary tracking paperwork; submit required paperwork on a
timely basis to department management. Documentation of network
configuration.
To be successful in this position you will need:

- 10 years related experience and education, experience and/or training.
Experience
as a field computer network engineer is preferred.
Must
have strong Networking Skills
Must
have a clean driving record. Vehicle is provided.
Experience
working with Macintosh experience is a plus but not required.
This
position is in The Woodlands, TX area. Out of state candidates are not
accepted.
This
is a full time position, not contract.
