Find Lost Passwords in Firefox

Braintek Staff Tutorials

Welcome to the Braintek video tutorials. My name’s Greg, owner of Braintek, and today, I’m going to show you how to look up your lost password in Firefox.

Let’s take a look. You know you’ve got a website that you visit all the time and here, it saves your password. Well, let’s say that you forgot that password and you don’t know what it is. So there’s a couple different things that you could do. You could right-click on the password for that specific site, go to ‘Fill password.’

You can notice that it’s got the users that have logged into it and you can ‘View Saved Logins.’ From here, it brings you up real quick to the Saved Logins page and it’s got this site saved with a couple different users that have logged into it and from here, you can click that user and ‘Show Passwords.’ Are you sure?

Now it shows the passwords. Now let’s say that you want to look at all of the sites. You can clear the search and you can see all of the different passwords that you saved for this different one.
